Dental Implants
Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. They involve a titanium implant being fitted to your jaw, then a dental crown being fitted on top.
Fitting the implant to your jaw involves minor surgery and highly technical skills and further training. For this part of your treatment, we refer you to a specialist dentist with these particular skills.
Once the implant is in place and stable, we are able to then fit a connector to the implant, then the dental crown on top of the connector. Dental implants are the closest possible replication we have of your original tooth as they are fitted to your jaw bone, they are not removable and they are able to be cleaned and maintained, much like real teeth.
